Cant figure this out!!

I have been to 3 uro's and 2 gyno's. All uro's said no IC had cysto in hospital under general. Bladder and urethra looked normal. I have this constant burning feeling on my vulva and tip of urethra and when it is bad the burning sensation will travel up my vaginal anterior wall. I dont know who to turn to anymore. I am very depressed. I have been on 13 different antibotics and vaginal creams. Does anyone with IC have this type of burning feeling around the vulva and tip of urethra??Thanks for any feedback.

I have heard from others on this board that they have vulvodynia (I think that is the correct spelling) and that may explain your symptoms. You may want to check it out. Will be praying for answers for you. I know this has to be very uncomfortable and painful. Blessings to you...

I agree with Carolyn you symptoms could be that of vulvodynia and not IC. I wish you luck. I know how hard it is to get a diagnoses. I went to 5 uros, 1 gyno and 1 gp and spent 5 yrs trying to get mine. Best of luck to you.

It's a simple Q tip test done by a GYN to diagnose Vulvodynia.

I get a burning feeling quite often around my urethra and it travels up by my vagina. Some days it is worse than others. I have never used anything for it but it makes me wonder if I have IC and Vulvodynia. I go back to the dr. in August and I am going to ask.
