a while back me and my best friend had a bad falling out. the wrose fuss we ever had in our 15 or better years of friendship. I we was both being hard headed and wouldn't give in.
amost a year passed then it was my sister in laws dealth that brung us back together. (its sad it took a dealth to do this) anyways she called me to tell us how sorry she was of our lost.
well that started us talking again (what a blessing) for the last two days we have spent it together hanging out by the pool here at the house and letting our kids play together. talking about the good ole times and enjoying each other company and catching up.
I'm very blessed to have my best friend back.
I guess we was so close she had to share my IC with me because about two years ago she got dx with IC also.
Gloria (bluebuterfly7373) in case you come to the boards. I love you hon you will always be my best friend and the closest thing i've ever had to a real sister. :grouphug:
Thanks for being here for me the last few days. You had my mind on other things instead of my surgery tomorrow wish made things a lot easier for me. So that i'm not as scared.
Your the best!!!

Rhonda,

It's so great that you are re-connected with your best friend. When I was 17, my best friend who I'd had since I was 11 and I stopped talking, and just recently, she and I reconnected as well. She was here when I found out I was pregnant, and we talk every night (she has an 8 month old) and is always asking how I'm feeling and telling me to take it easy LOL! Isn't it nice to have that back in your life???

It's like, no matter how many friends you have, it's your best friend that really truly feels like family.

Hugs,
Jess

Rhonda,
I am so happy for you that you and your friend are back in touch again. I had just the opposite experience last week. A girl who supposedly was one of my very best friends ( for like 10 years) emailed me and told me she just couldn't be my friend anymore because my health issuues were too much for her to handle, and she just did not wanna talk to me anymore. I was absoluteley crushed. We had talked nearly every day.She lives in Boston now, but at least there were telephone ( I have the bills to prove it!) Anyway, cherish your friends forever, cuz you never know when they will desert you... :(
Wishing you all the best! Sheri G :grouphug:
