Why do my cats always want to watch me go pee pee? I don't watch them? :loco: :loco: :loco: :loco:

I don't know, but my cat has a nasty habit of trying to drink from the toilets (we are trying to stop him), and when someone is sitting on one he follows you in there to watch and meows loudly, as if he's saying, "Get off my water bowl! I don't pee in your water!!" LOL :lmao:

My cat only drinks from the toilet. I have to make sure the lid is open at all times and the toilet is flushed. It doesn't bother me that he does this. I don't have to keep up a water bowl. (He doesn't like those clorox pills in the tank.) He doesn't mind if we use it...he just waits his turn and if my son forgets to flush, he will sit and wait for someone to do so. I truly believe he would flush it himself if he could.

We keep our lid closed all the time to keep our dal*****n from drinking from the toilet. I keep a water bowl in the bathroom for her, as well as one downstairs in the kitchen with her food dish.

My Kitten Sets On The Back Of The Toilet When I'm Setting On It. He Also Likes Watching Everyone Shower. Sometimes He Jumps In The Shower. He's So Crazy. My Friends Come Over & He Tries To Go To The Restroom With Them Also.

My cat also likes the shower... he doesn't really get in it per se, but he will get between the outer curtain and the clear plastic liner and watch whoever is in there. Also, and for some reason he will only do this if my husband showers, he likes to get on hubby's wet back. He stands on the edge of the tub and then if hubby bends over he'll jump onto his back. He meows and then lies down and licks hubby's hair, as if he is trying to help the grooming process along :) We call it "doing Backie" or "being a Backie." Hubby will yell out, "He's being a Backie again!" and I'll go in there and the cat is on my hubby's back... then I'll bend over and Paddington (the cat) will come over to my back and knead and purr, then go back over to hubby's back, and he'd do it all morning, going back and forth if we let him. Oddly, he will not start the process if *I* shower -- I think I use too much goop in my hair (conditioners, etc) and he doesn't like to lick me ;)

Let me add that Paddington is a 23 pound male Maine Coon (42 inches long at full extension from nose to tail), so having him do Backie on you is not easy... it is great exercise for your butt and back muscles tho :) :biglaugh:

I have a kitten, named Steve, and he thinks my bathroom rug is his mommy. It's fuzzy and a similar color to him. Everytime he comes into the bathroom, he lays on the rug all spread out and will knead with his paws like he is nursing and make a smacking sound with his mouth. We've had him for a few weeks and I just wonder how long he will do this. The previously mentioned cat, the one that drinks out of the toilet, hates the new kitten and refuses to give him the time of day.

I have 5 cats. I cant go anywhere in this house without at least one of them following me! Since I've been sick, I dont know what I would do without my kitties, or my big ole dog! If I shut the bathroom door my lil white cat sits outside the door meowing til I let her in!
