Hello! Along with having IC, I also have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was denied disability on my first try and in PA the next step is the ALJ hearing. I am being treated at the Fibro & Fatigue Center and I had a Cariopulmonary Exercise Test done last month. The test has different METS ratings:

Class 1 = > 25 - No Impairment
Class 2= 20 - 25 - Mild Impairment
Class 3 = 15 - 20 - Moderate Impairment
Class 4 = < 15 - Severe Impairment

My Max Mets was 3.7 - Severe impairment (51 - 100% loss of function)
The report also states: Social Security Disability VO2 Criterion: BELOW

My doctor said this should help my case. Do you think this would be enough info. to get my disability approved without the hearing??

Was this test required by SS or is it something that your doctor at the center wanted you to do? I cant say for sure if it would be able to get you your SS without a hearing. But it might when the judge reviews your case. I wish you luck. It took me so long and I was also denied the first time. Most cases are turned down on the first try....Wishing you luck

Hi Patricia, This is a test the doctor at the center recommended.

I agree with what Patricia said. Since you're at the Hearings level, it's pretty much all up to the judge, now... It sounds like you have some pretty good evidence though, so that's a good thing!

Best wishes and feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
