I have a question regarding cymbalta... I just went to a new pain specialist who is supposed to be the top in washington for IC and since he charges $800 for 1 hour I sure hope he lives up to his reputation! I have had terrible pain in my bladder since October 24 hours a day and have tried Elavil and Pamelor and Valium(they all gave me horrible retention and even swallowing problems,8 DSMO treatments which did nothing,different narcotics which caused hives and I was beside myself with agony. well this doctor wants to put me on Cymbalta right away because he said that he believes it will totally help me and he has seen many hopeless patients get better on it.He says that it doesnt have the same side effects as the other ones ... He wants to start me on a very low dose and even suggested that I could open the pill and sprinkle it on something to get it down(I have trouble with capsels and this will also cut the dose in half for me)My question is.."has anyone had luck with this drug and have u opened it up and how much do u take? thank u
