I only have 2 hrs to go and I will have my pottassuim procedure . Thanks everyone for sending prayers and thoughts to me. I don't want to do this and I am scared out of mind. I will let everyone know how I am as soon as I can.

Hi, Kim, sending good thoughts and hugs your way. Everything will be okay, I promise! If it's uncomfortable they give you a rescue remedy immediately and then it's "ahhhh" and everything is okay. It won't be bad! :) By this afternoon you will be smiling and saying, "I have my diagnosis and it wasn't that bad!"

Plan for a treat afterwards - maybe a favorite meal, or dessert, or maybe a small shopping trip, or maybe a movie you'd like to see. Something to think about while you are waiting so that you have something positive to look forward to.

Blessings, Lori

Thanks Lori for your thoughts and prayers . The thing is I already have my dx had it since april . If it wasn't for my insurance pushing for a unnecessary procedure because they don't want to cover Elmiron. I will let you know how I am doing.

Kim,

I hope it all goes well for you this morning! I was pretty scared about having this done too. All in all, it was over very quickly, with no return of the pain once the numbing solution wore off.

Let us know how it goes!

Vicki

I was so scared of having my cystoscopy done the other day, and it really was not bad at all. I know it is a totally different procedure, and you are just doing it because of your insurance company  , but I feel that you will get back from the procedure finally be able to relax...and then you will be able to get on with life, and start your Elmiron.
