Hi. Since I've been complaining and freaking out here nonstop lately (ha), I figured I'd give an update about my uro appointment today. I saw a doctor named Abby Gaske in L.A. and she was super nice and seemed pretty knowledgeable about IC. She examined me and saw no abnormalities. They also gave me a bladder scan, and found that I am emptying well and not retaining, which is good news. They scheduled me for a pelvic ultrasound tomorrow and a cystoscopy on Monday, and then we are going to talk about doing instillations. She also prescribed antihistamines. I am really glad that I am finally being treated by someone I feel comfortable with. She gave me more hope today than any doctor has given me in the past 8 years. I really recommend her, if anyone's in the L.A. area. :)
