I need to vent

My dr. prescribed pyruduim and Levaquin because I have sinus infection. Pyruiduim for the bladder Pain till I can get my elmiron cover. Getting back to the reason I need to vent my sil makes me so mad she thinks all my problems are in my head which they are not. I am really sick and it seems no one understands what I am going through . My pain is real my gyn says it real and so does my uro . thank you for listening.She thinks I am trying to seek out pain meds and I am not.

I also had trouble with my SIL over my IC. She did not believe me, stopped talking to me several times without explanation, made trivializing comments about IC, and just overall was no support whatsoever. My mother eventually stepped in & talked with her & my brother about how difficult IC is, that they couldn't see it living so far away, but that my whole life has changed & they should be supportive.

I had hoped when she & my brother married, that she would be a new person to love in the family, but I have given up on that & simply hope for mutual pleasantness. I do not share anything of value with her, keep the conversations really really general (weather, my nephew's latest whatever, their latest home improvements, etc.) on the very very rare occasion I talk with her. (Only twice since Jan).

It is so hard when our families don't understand what we are going through & are judgmental. It's a shock I haven't completely gotten over, but I'm learning to accept it, because if I use up my energy fighting (either out loud or just in my own mind), then I won't have strength to heal or rebuild my life...

Ty Kadi it is so frustrating when my family do not understands it is not like this disease is not frustrating enough without the added stress.
