Does pyruiduim work better the Azo standard over the counter I am thinking of asking my dr.? to call me in some tommorrow till I can get this potassuim procedure done and the elmiron covered in 2 wks.

I take the Pyridum Plus and it works better for me then the AZO standard.

Pyrduim helps more with pain and burning...azo...I can't tell what it is doing to me..

That is my problem pain and Burning so Pyrduim would be my best bet I will call the dr. .

I do with urised I had to stop it because it gave me stop cramps and diarheaa.

Pyridium and Azo standard are the same medication --- the over-the-counter is a much lower dosage, however.
