regional forum- not sure where to post

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got an e-mail from the Interstitial Cystitis Association about a regional forum that will be on Sun. Sept. 25th at the Crystal City Hyatt Hotel in Arlington, Va. The forum is from 1pm to 5pm. Registration begins at noon. There is a $25.00 registration fee per person. Some of the speakers are John Warren, Susan Keay, Toby Chai, Richard Alexander, and Carlos Cire. There is supposed to be more info to follow. You can also e-mail them at icanews@ichelp.org.

Has anyone ever gone to something like this? It seems like it may be worth taking a trip for.

I wonder if this is going to replace the larger conferences held in the past. I was especially impressed with the one held in Milwaukee; I also attended the one in Alexandria, but it was much shorter and not as many people attended.

My husband said he will go to the forum with me!! (I didn't want to drive there myself- I am about 5 hrs. away.) I am sooo excited! I think it will be so interesting! Any one know if you register before hand, or do you just register that day? Thanks.

My daughter lives in DC and notified me of this. We will be back in NH at the time, but I am thinking of flying down, spending a long weekend with my daughter and attending the forum. Hope I am able to make these arrangements and see many of you there!

The ICA co-hosted a regional forum with the ICU of Texas last year in Houston. It was really good and had a great turn out.

There is going to be another regional conference in Houston, Tx October 22, 2005.

Dr. Robert Moldwin will be the keynote speaker.
Dr. Christopher Smith will be speaking on current IC research.
Dr. Esperanza McKay will be speaking on pelvic floor rehab.
Dr. Stacey Bourland will be speaking on psychological management of chronic pain.
