Hi Everyone! I was diagnosed with IC almost 3 years ago, but doctor believes I've had it all of my life, and I am now 36, so you can just imagine the suffering! The urologist tried every treatment that there is and I even cathetarize myself 2 - 3 x a week with meds for IC. My IC was so bad to the point that I could not even walk a few feet without feeling like my insides were going to fall out, I couldn't walk through a grocery store, I had to ride the carts and everything! Peeing every 10 - 15 minutes and up all night going as well. I also have Fibro. and Chronic Fatigue and there is a new treatment place call the Fibro and Fatigue Center that deal strickly with these diseases. They use a combination of conventional medicine with nonconventional treatments and what is working are the IV injections I receive eack week. What they include in these IV's are: Ascorbic acid, magnesium sulfate, pyridoxine (preservative free), Hydroxycobalamin, B-Complex 100, Dexpanthenol, Glutathione which is pushed in separately - not mixed in with the other ingredients.

My fibro started going in remission and so has my IC. I now am down to doing my Cath. injections about 1 - 2 times every 2 weeks! This might be a place for other IC places to check out!

You are very lucky to have a facility near you (wherever you are...where is this place?!?) that is willing to work with you and try different things. Many of us are not that fortunate! Maybe our own doctors will learn from your clinic and its work. Good luck, and keep us all posted!

The facility is almost 2 1/2 hours away, but it is worth the trip to go. I go to the F & F center in Philadelphia.
