Hi everyone,
Hope you are all having a non flare day today.. I've been flairing up a lot lately and have been trying to still cope with this awful Ic without taking Elmiron. I'm still hopeing I can control my flairs without meds but I'm heading closer to meds everyday.
Anyhow, my questions is:
What type of Water does everyone drink? Are there other brands of water besides Evian that people find good. I live in Newfoundland Canada and most people here drink the tap water. That is impossible for me because of the Chlorine... It just kills me. I find Evian good but VERY EXPENSIVE. I would like to try something similar to Evian. Are all Natural spring waters the same? So I was just wondering what type of Water does everyone drink? My dad would like to buy me one of those big water coolers for my home for my B-Day. ( drinking a lot of water is the only thing that helps my burning) but you can't buy the Evian water in Big Jugs so I was hoping I could get something similar to Evian that I could use.
Thanks in Advance for any replies.
Krista

I like the Ice Mountain brands of spring water and distilled water. I switch back and forth, as I've read that it is bad to just drink distilled all of the time. We have the Whole Foods store here, and I also like their spring and distilled water. I do not think all spring waters are the same. I tried a local grocery store brand, and it caused big flares for me.

I drink Aquafina. It is just purified water without any added chemicals. grocery stores put in on sale quite often.

I also like Ice Mountain, but I've found different waters don't bother me too much. MOst of the time I drink water from home. I have a Pur water filter on the kitchen faucet that I run it through into a Brita pitcher that filters it again. It does OK for me, but some of us are more sensitive to water than others. I hope you find something that works for both your bladder and your budget! :)

You can find the bio sheets for lots of bottled water here
http://www.bottledwaterweb.com/bott/

Look for those which have a ph over 7.

I drink arrowhead but it is probably not available in canada.

Hi Krista,
I drink Aquafina and Alhambra water and both have been great for my bladder, and also on the checkbook! Hopefully it is avaliable where you live, if so, give them a try. Drinking a lot of water also helps me with the burning! Good luck and take care!
Good Bless, Cassandra
