New hair cut!

I just wanted to share. My H never wanted me to have my hair much past shoulder length in shortness and would have had it as long as I would grow it. I always did what he wanted, long story. Well we are separated right now and I have been so sick. Now that I am well enough to get out a little now, I went today and got a haircut.

Hi your hair looks great. I got mine cut Friday. I had hair past the middle of my back it was all one length. Wanted to get layers and not to take any off the length. Well the first girl I went to did it but did not know what she was doing. She took my glasses off and I was blind as a bat. Got home and she layerd up to my shoulders and left the rest all ragged and not even cut. It was butchered and I cried like a baby. So I had to run around and find someone else who would take care of her mess. Its shoulder length and layered all over. I like it now and it really looks better but I was so mad. 5 yrs worth of hair growing gone in 10 minutes. UGGG But I am very happy for you

Good for you! It looks really nice and what's more important, YOU are happy with it! :) I don't know why most men favor such long hair. I've been fortunate that my ex-husband and now my boyfriend seem to favor me with shorter hair.

My hair is very short (cropped) -- I try from time to time to grow it longer when I want a change in look, but can't get past a chin-length bob because it is so curly and coarse. Then I start to look like Gilda Radner (for those of you that remember her from Saturday Night Live...may she rest in peace!)

The new cut is great --- very flattering. If you take another few inches off, you'll have hair as short as mine. :)

Must be something in the water, -after thirty plus years of longer hair last week I finally got up the nerve to have mine chopped off too. I love being able to drive with the windows open in my car without having to tie my hair up first!

Maybe it is the water, like you said. i also cut my hair today, very short and highlights, much less fussing with it. My husband is not crazy about it, but he'll get used to it. What do they know about hair upkeep.
