Hello,

My name is Jessica. I am just 19 years old and was diagnosed with moderate IC. I am currently researching the options available to me. Does anyone take Elmiron and does it work?

I take Elmiron and find it helps -- I went off it for a week in January to see what happened, and I got worse, so I went back on. :)

:hi: and :welcome: to the ICN family i'm sorry you was dx with IC but your right there is alot of op. to treat IC and the IC diet has helped many many people also you can find the diet and treatment op. at www.ic-network.com/handbook
i did take elimron at the beginning it didn't work well for me, but i went and started the heparin and marcaine treatments which has been a God sent to me, but we are all diff..

Hello and Welcome. I am elmiron, I can't say weather it works I have only been on it for a week. I was diagnosed a few weeks ago.

Elmiro is a great med if it works for you. IT can take up to 6 to 8 months for you to feel any effects.... I happen to be one that it wasn't for me.
