I'm getting married today!!

Well, what started out as an "elopement-under-everyone's-nose-in-our-own-home-town", has been foiled, :biglaugh: . He told his parents, (which I wanted no one to know) and it snowballed from there, lol :bonk: . Glad though that his mom was at least excited about it, could have been worse I suppose!!

So, tonight at 7 we say our I Do's!! Just had to share my happy day!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Oh thank you everyone!!! I made it! I am a Mrs again, lol. The outdoor plans got cancelled due to a huge thunderstorm, but it was a perfect evening! It was even better when he dropped to one knee before the service to "officially" propose to me -- in front of the parents and everyone -- and asked me if I would "please marry him today?" :)

We'd originally planned on a fall wedding, but since I have been having some severe intestinal things going on now (I suspect IBS or IBD), and some expensive med tests looming (various scopings, lol -- colonoscopy etc, ick) we decided to do it now to get me on his health insurance right away. Due to planning the wedding and the doc appts, the "proposal" got lost in the shuffle, as did even having rings. So, he got me a temporary engagement ring, and a beautiful wedding band, yesterday before the service! LMAO!! It was so sweet, all the trouble he went through for me, I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!!

Just too bad my stomach started acting up as soon as we got home, and I spent all night on the toilet, with horrible cramping etc....for once not the IC acting up, lol.

Thanks again every one!! I am just thrilled!!! :)

It sounds like a perfect, beautiful time (and your hubby sounds very sweet!) although I'm so sorry you had stomach upset all last night. :( Hopefully it won't be anything worse than IBS, which is annoying, but you can get it under control most of the time with meds, dietary changes and that sort of thing.

Yes, me too, hoping it's IBS but my brain always assumes the worst when going through an "episode". I am hoping all the excitement and stress of yesterday is what kicked it into gear -- I was so nervous I messed up my vows, and had to have the officiant repeat them for me, lol! How embarrassing ......
