Pain meds off internet

I got an email today from an online pain pill company. This is not legit! They are offering pain meds off the internet without a prescription. All you have to do is pick what drug you want & enter your credit card info & it'll be shipped to you the next day. I'm wondering if I should report this site & if so, who do I report it to? It's sites like this that are giving us true pain sufferers & the pain meds a bad name & it really makes me mad! Any thoughts?

KArma, yes I think this needs reported. As i sit here as I type watching Dr Phil, with a deperate husband who buys them off the internet and spend $18,000. a year to these people. That is just outrageous to buy illegal narcotics for fun and games, when some poepl ehave trouble getting them legally for pain.

I am watching the same show Dr. Phil you should report them. It makes me mad that illegit companies prays on other peopels chronic pain.

One of the sad things about this kind of sales is that many times they are selling them from a different country, which makes it very difficult to prosecute anyone. I'm not sure where to report them --- if somebody knows, please let me know.

I seen that show to before i left to go to courtney's feild day I just wanted to knock the heck out of that man and tell dr phil a few things my self. people like that is the very reason icer has a hard time getting the help they need :rant:

Also, if someone orders from these people, you dont know what you might be getting. I just saw a news show (forgot which one) where a truckload of pills (from who knows where) is stored in some strip joint, then re-labeled and distributed. The sad thing was, these pills were supposed to help cancer patients, I think it was Procrit, but it killed them, because it was not what it said. So if anyone thinks these pain pills are the way to go, they might not be what the label says.

The FBI, last I heard, has a portion of their website dedicated to reporting this kind of thing... you may try there and see what happens.

I saw that episode of Dr Phil too. What Donna said is right....often there is nothing that we can do to the site since they are following the laws of their country. Not sure what the sollution is.
