Kristi,
I have not tried the KY Warming Liquid, but I've thought about it! But does it have many ingredients? Because my bladder has NOT been happy with various vaginal creams like yeast meds or estrogen cream. They often have alcohol or preservatives in them that I've read may be the problem.

the ingreidents are Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Purified Honey, and Methylparaben. I have no idea what these are (except Honey) Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

I would think the warming liquid might really set off some people's IC or vulvodynia. I learned about Astroglide here and my hubby and I have used it ever since. I like it much better than KY - I find it to be MUCH more lubricating.

Another good one is "Slippery Stuff"

Hubby and I use one called "Liquid Silk" -- available at http://www.drugstore.com in the Sexual Well-being section, or at http://www.goodvibes.com -- Good Vibes also has a lube sampler pack where you get several single use packets of different lubes so you can experiment with what's right for you.
I would think the warming liquids would be pretty irritating, and just about everyone who's used this and has IC has complained of increased symptoms afterwards. I don't know why, I guess the warming stuff irritates the already-sensitive tissues down there.

Tried the warming and wanted to scream. I think there is something in it that can aggravate IC.

Yes, in the beginning(before I knew about ic or that I had it) I thought that stuff sounded like fun and in very short order I found that It WAS NOT fun. about the second time I wondered if I was sensitive to it and we went back to ky regular...then later on tried it again a time or two...not ever again.

Propelyne glycol is used as a gelling agent...it is harmless and used in cosmetics and some food.
Methylparaben is a preservative.
Astroglide has even more chemicals in it.
Just get some glycerin at the store (you can find it in drug or health food stores)
You mix a bit with water and VIOLA! Your own KY-type jelly without harsh chemicals or preservatives. :)

We use Astroglide. Except when I'm ovulating and TTC, we use Pre-Seed and/or real eggwhites.
