I realize they haven't dx you with IC but have you tried Elavil? It has actually helped relieve the burning/pain in my red inflammed urethra. I started about 2 weeks ago and its been the first time in years I've had any relief.

I think I mentioned I went to her. She will definietly give you a cysto the first time you go, if that is what you want. She is a very medically-oriented doctor, and by than I mean very quick and down to business, no hour long talks with you about your symptoms like Dr. Olsen. I didn't want the "wham bam" type of doctor so I never went back, but she wanted to do the cysto right then and there, which sounds like you would like to have a doctor do that. The wait was not long either.
Also, I think I said this before to you but she is about 8.5 months pregnant, so you should get in soon with her if you want to see her!
There is another woman on the boards named SABIN who has seen Dr. Fred Govier in the same hospital. She said that he was very good, so if you can't get in with Dr. Kobashi maybe you should try him. He is the head of urology at Virginia Mason.

well I have pretty much decided to go to the pt and see if that helps and if not I talked to my older dd and she will drive me to the u of Wa if I want to see dr Miller again. I would rather go to someone that is a expert in Ic and get some "Real" help and I am tired of trying out drs ...I was watching "House" last night wishing there was someone like that ..who would work to figure me out lol xoxo Red
