Hi,

I wasn't sure where to put this so maybe someone can tell me where a better place is to write this particular question. Thank you very much.

A friend's daughter (about 28) has been having urethral pain and problems for quite some time. She has been diagnosed as having an obstruction in her urethra. She is booked for a cysto and dilatation but was told she could only have this done twice before more involved surgery might be required.
Has anyone experienced this problem and has had some sort of surgery for it.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks again.

LOUISE

Louise I answered your other post in the Cysto/Hydro forum. Hope this helps your friend's daughter.

Dear Louise I am in my mid 40's now but when I was 26 I had an obstruction in my uretha due to a stone. It was very painful and back then they could not do the things they do now to treat this. I did have a day surgury and was out the next day. They were surprized that they did not detect it before they put die in me to check for stones. Today they have a C.T. scan that can see stones now much easier than 20 years ago. I hope your friend is okay and does well. :smile tee TAKE CARE
