can PFD cause bladder pain or does it just cause frequency ,urgency or poor urine flow and retention? thank u

PFD can definitely cause pain.

yes My dr said the mucules around the uretha area can be so tense it can cause frequency and poor urine flow and you feel like you have to still go when your done going cause you don't relax those muscules enough to get all the urine out! I even started spraying my urine in the toilet and really having to strain and push to get it out...and I was just diagnosed with pfd and I have horrible uretha burning but the dr thinks this is from the musucles being soo incrediably tight around that area, I go to pt for this soon ..hope this helps xoxo Red

PFD can cause bladder pain...and many other kinds of pain too...multiple symptoms. The pain is different than IC pain but can be quite bad at times.
