About 2 months ago my insurance was cancelled. My OBO/GYN has now said he suspects IC and wants me to see a URO ASAP. He is not going to write it in my chart so as to not have pre-existing problems. I won't have insurance now until July 1, 05. I have been taking about a box of over the counter Azo Standard now for about 2 months. The OB thought I had a resistant infections. (another long story for another time). Does anyone know of any long term side effects of the AZO produts. I can't go to a URO for over a month and this is the only thing that is providing any real relief.

From my understanding you aren't supposed to use it more than like 2-3 days in a row. It's hard on your kidneys. Here's a link to another poster who had the same question, I knew I had just seen one recently and there's more info there! :)
