Can anyone living in New Jersey recommend a doctor that treats Vulvodynia? I am in agony and really need to switch my GYN to someone who knows about this illness.
Thank you.

In order to get the referrals from the NVA you have to join the organization. They will not send it without your donation. I would not mind paying the money if I knew there was a doctor on that list that I could go to. There may not be anyone in my State.
The last time I went to a doctor that specialized in both conditions he believed me about the IC but said I did not have Vulvodynia. OK, I can buy that but where is all this pain coming from. He could not answer that question. Anyway, I bet you he is on that list.
I am so frustrated with the medical profession but need the help. I was hoping someone could recommend someone that they find is helpful.
Thanks for commenting.

Hey Ginny,

I found this link:

I hope it's helpful! I have both vulvar vestibulitis and IC, so I can empathize with what you're going through.

I made an appt with someone on the list. 4 month wait. I don't know if I will make it.

Wow, a 4 month wait! Did you ask them to let you know if they had any cancellations during that timeframe?

What have you been doing to deal with your symptoms?
