Hi everyone,
I'm new here....
I have primarily urethral pain, with some trigonal inflammation as well. I'm wondering where to place my TENS electrodes to optimize pain relief in this area.
Strangely, I noticed that when I have the most bladder pain, I feel pain in my bum, on the very insides of the cheeks, near the vaginal opening. I tried putting the electrodes right there, and it seems to hit the nerves for the urethra, but it also seems to cause those muscles to tighten up. When I turn off the unit, they seem to relax again, so I'm afraid to let it go in that area too long. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jen
