Aloe Gel ? instillations?

This may seem like a dumb question but I do at home instillations of my heparin etc has anyone ever put aloe in it? is that a major no-no or could it help? how about using it vaginally? I noticed it is a very small % of citric acid but it may burn?? xoxo Red

Yes the citric acid can cause major problems. I do heprain mercaine at home and also instill MSM made from the Crystals and sterilized. My dr is very aware of what I'm doing.

Since I take aloe gel daily and I will be seeing my uro this week ( It's been 6 months since I have been to see him ) I will ask about that.. :)

ok thanks I would appreciate it:) glad your doing better I just got some aloe and I am drinking it I am in a bad flare and read your post I hope it helps me too my worst problem with the IC is the intense contant BURNING! I am thinking of trying Elmiron again thanks xoxo Red

Red, are you drinking the gel? That's what my uro says to do...3 - 4 mouthfuls a day..

yes drinking the gel and still burning...what is the mercaine that you do with the heparin instillations? I do heparin instillations but with the numbing stuff and sterile water my dr perscribes through the pharmacy. where do you get these cystals? and what are they for and do they help? xoox Red

Mercaine is a perscription pain med. The MSM crystals are sold at the health food store or through Jacobs lab. Not all MSM is the same, the one throught Jacob's lab is pure! Follow the instructions for making an oral solution. If your going to talk to your doctor it helps to take in the research. search with goggle the MSM and go to dmso.org, the to Jacob's lab for info on MSM.
