Help worse Flare ever!

I am new here and have had Ic for 15 years or so I went into remission for 9 years then it is back with a vengence after my hysterectomy I still have my ovaries, I am on urispas, urelle, you name it all the natural stuff ph relief, urv ursi, drinking aloe gel, bladder pills from naturopath and my uro has me doing at home instillastions weekly of heparin and that numbing stuff and sterile water and it was helping but now all the sudden the horrible burning is back it feels like I have a constant fire in my lower pelvic area!! it burns soo bad it can drive one nuts! I am using the estace cream vaginally and do the diet...and take prelief...and use a hot pad etc...what can I do to make this burning stop? I was working out 6 days a week and now nothing I am feeling soo bad and living on pain pills I don't have a infection I already was tested. thanks for listening....xxoxo Red

I am soooooo sorry that you are hurting so badly. Were you burning a lot before you started the Estrace cream? I had to stop it because it made me burn badly. I'm sure it doesn't do that to everyone though. Perhaps with your doctors permission you could stop it for a few days and see if it helps.

I don't use Estrace that often and was burning before that..I read where someone was drinking aloe gel so trying that today ..this is a stupid? but has anyone put aloe gel in their instillations? would that help or be bad? thanks xoxox Red

One other thought . . . what else have you changed or added since your hysterectomy? Are the pills from the naturopath new? What are they?

nothing else new...I was doing great and the instillations were a Godsend then all the sudden Wham! I noticed that is how IC is there is no Rhymn or reason I can't tell you for the life of me how I was in remission for over 9 years I ate salsa and drank pop etc...I don't know what I did? I wrack my brain :loco: but can't figure it out. I hope the aloe helps ...the only other thing is I am on South Beach diet which has been great to cut out all the refined sugar etc..and i have given away 40 pds so maybe the toxins from my fat melting is doing it? who knows! it can be maddening for sure! xoxo Red

hon, I sure feel for you. Hope you feel better soon. Is it possible that you have a UTI that didn't show up the first time you had it checked? Maybe you might want to buy one of those UTI test strip kits at a pharmacy just to make sure. I really hate to think of you suffering so much,

thanks so much!(((HUGS))) yes I have been on my doxycycline antibiotic for over 10 days just in case it was a uti I did do the azo standard uti test and nothing..the dr usually never finds me with a uti just this horrible burning he don't know what to do about! thanks for your kind thoughts! and please pray for me! I am a couple days late reply. I SURE hope your flare is over.
There is nothing like that burn down there.
Oh and when it is in the urethra it is agony. I was in a flare 2 nights ago. IT liked to have MURDERED ME then my period started next morning.
5 days early, so !!!! that explained it all.
I am living on pain medicine. But I am having to BREAK them in half, if not QUATERS of one whole tablet to make it.
I had a few percocet 10/325 mg. I made one pill last all day break breaking it in to 4ths 4 doses from one pill.
It did not even make it tolerable. But Oh well. Enough whining.
