Whenever I am hot, like last night and the air condition was just being turned on (i live in St Louis), the hotter I am, the worse my bladder feels.

I used the ice pack and spray bottle but still was hot. Finally after some vanilla custard and laying with a fan on, was I able to cool off. Doesn't help that I am on my period.

Anyone else experince this?

Yes! I think anytime we are uncomfortable or weather changes or temperature changes happen it can effect our IC. Double things causing a flare like a period and weather are 2 things hard to avoid and yet they both can be a problem. :grouphug: Some people have tried BCP to help lesson the blow of their periods. Sure hope you get some relief!

• Flares may be because of: stress, food, food allergies, certain vitamins, nasal allergies, fumes, over working yourself, exercising wrongly or too much, sex, gas, hormones, yeast infections, bacterial infections, smoking, car rides, viruses or being sick, being over tired, treatments affecting you badly, test affecting you badly, surgeries, baths of more than just water, temperature or weather changes, diarrhea or constipation, hunger or over eating, and many other things. Some things you can help lesson or prevent…some not. If you are flaring there is a lot you can do Katrina’s collective list of pain treatment ICN ICN’s survey from patients
