I was not sure where to put this, so I thought this was as good a place as any. A lady at work who knows that I have done a ton of research about bladders, asked me what I knew about fumes (ex.- hair dye, and fumes from acrylic nails being applied or filled- in particular) affecting the bladder. I have not done much research on this particular topic since chemicals do not affect me personally very much- as I am not around them much. Just wondering if anyone here is affected by them, and what your experiences are (like what affects you the most, what are your symptoms- flare like or otherwise...) And, if anyone has any useful info about this topic. Thanks!!

Well, we are painting things in the house right now trying to get it ready to sell. We are also doing a lot of cleaning with glass cleaners, bleach, etc depending on what we're cleaning. I know that sometimes the fumes make me feel awful, and that since we've been doing all of this my bladder seems to be giving me more trouble... not so much in terms of frequency, but I notice increased pain during this time.

I too have noticed that my pain is worse when I use harsh cleaners. I wonder what causes that?!? The frequency is about the same for me. The pain I experienced the last time I used a lot of cleaners prompted me to research "natural", homemade cleaners. I don't seem to have the same reaction to these as I did the store-bought brands.
