:toilet: Ok, I don't quite understand something. I have been taken Sanctura & Hydroxzine for a very long time now. I thought that stuff was suppposed to help control the urge to pee. When we flew to China and home, and I was nervous on the planes that I was constantly going to the bathroom. I would feel the urge to go so bad (like every 15-30 minutes) that it felt like if I didn't go right then I would go in my seat. So then I would get up and go, and there would either be NOTHING or just a dribble. I mentioned this to the nurse at my URO's office the other day when I went in to get some samples of meds., and she said that it was probably my nerves. Well, then if it is my nerves, do I need to take something for my nerves too? Believe me, I was so tired of getting up on the plane and heading to the bathroom all the time. This also happens when we go on car trips. We went back home to Ohio a couple weekends ago, and on the way home on the Turnpike, I had to go quite alot. This is getting old. Like I said, I thought the meds. were supposed to help control that urge. Anyone have any advice? I will take any advice I can get.
Thank
Kim

Can you relate it to diet or beverage? I notice it happens to me when I am either drinking something I should not be drinking (coffee or soda) or eating something like grapes. If you know you will be on a long trip keep an eye on what you are eating or drinking. It might help.

Diet does play a role, but you can also ask for anixety meds for nerves. I calms me down. Once IC is working up, it hard to calm your head.

How do you like Sanctura? What does it do?
