cannabis and IC

has anyone tried it? it's not legal to use it even for medical purposes in the uk, but can anyone tell me have they tried smoking it and found a difference? does it help frequency/urgency aswell as pain?

In some states in the US, it's legal with a doctor's order. However, I haven't heard of anyone with IC having much benefit from it.

I tried it ONCE about a year ago, and it actually made me worse. I felt acutely aware of my bladder, which felt like a huge fireball, and I kept running to the bathroom because I became paranoid that I was going to pee my pants. It was NOT a good experience for me and I will never, ever try it again.

I also don't condone it because it IS illegal and I don't want anyone to get in trouble for trying this method.

I've tried it and it did the very same thing to me. It made me even more aware of my bladder, it just about drove me nuts!!!!

Never again.....
