I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it--I am graduating this Friday with my Master's in Library and Information Science. I've basically given up everything else in my life to get this far, and I've done it.
Wish me luck as I start a new job--I'll be a children's librarian. Hopefully the IC and I can manage full time work! I've made some baby steps forward, and am still hoping for better out of life, so won't quit trying.

Congrats Sarah on your masters. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I "grow up". As long as your happy with your new job, I think things will work out, and it will be the time of your life.

Oh, the good thing about working with kids will be that have like the attention span of ants, so if you need a quick potty break I bet they don't mind:)
Congrats Sarah! I've been considering going back to school to get a Master's in Library and Information Science. I would be interested in learning more about what was involved in getting a Master's in this career. I have a Master's in a different area, and know the rigors of grad school. I would love to talk with someone who has a Master's in your area before embarking on it. Please feel free to pm me or email me. Your new job sounds like it would be very rewarding! I hope that you feel better every day!
