This is gross -- sorry -- but I am urinating LARGE clumps of mucus almost every time I urinate, whether I am flaring or not. Is this normal?

I have that as well, and notice more when I am flaring. My uro told me it is the GAG layer breaking down further.

If your doing that I would contact my doctor as it isn't suppose to be normal and I would be on the safe side rather then not.

Please ask your doctor about this --- the only time I have ever had mucus in my urine was with infection.
