Here it is April 28th, 3:30 in the afternoon, and it's snowing out! I'm so ready for summer,....what's the hold-up?, Where is summer anyhow?

Maybe this should go under venting.

The snow is pretty though. You don't want me to tell you that it was 90 here yesterday.

It's only been in the 60s here in Memphis, and also we are having quite a bit of rain lately -- we are under a severe thunderstorm watch right now, in fact. I hope it doesn't get too nasty!! However, lots of things are blooming and the leaves are mostly out... spring is here, it's just a rainy one!

Today we have a foot of snow here in Colorado. My husband had to stard the snow blower again. I was ready to do some gardening, it's more like Christmas. Oh well, we need the moisture.

Jen's right...we have a very good possibility of storms here in Memphis, today and tonight. Right now, as I write this, it is 10:05 a.m. and it is so dark outside that I have to have lights on in the house to keep from bumping into the furniture.

Spring...what a wonderful time of year. Flowers blooming (sinuses running amuck), grass growing (have to get the mower back in action), and Severe Thunderstorms. :woohoo: :shake: :lmao:

Well the sun is shining here right now and the temp is about 50 degrees, but it's supposed to rain again tonight. Really wish it would warm up and stay that way. We will have a day that are 80 degrees and then the next day it's 50, what's up with that?

All the snow is finally melted in Cleveland, Ohio. There was so much tree damage and many people have set out their branches for the city to take away. We have an elm tree in the backyard and it's surrounded by broken branches. Some areas east of Cleveland were without power for five days. I'm still not sure if it's all been restored. Rain is predicted for the next 4 days.

Yes, the snow is pretty. -In October when those first flakes fall. And especially around Christmas when the irridescent white blanket reflects back the various hues of the beautiful holiday lights. Very pretty!

But come late April, it's like putting a pink ballgown on a twelve year old goat. No matter which angle I look at it from, I'm just not seeing pretty!

But 90 degrees? Now that does make my snow sound better!

LOL I was laughing yesterday May 1st because it was snowing big pretty flakes here. I was shocked and had to do a double take.
