bladder instillation_IBS

Do you think bladder installations can cause IBS to flare up. I just had a bladder installation and now my IBS seems to be worse. Maybe it's just right after or does it make it worse?

My dr. told me they go hand and hand. I have both also--it is a lot of fun

But does the Bladder Installation flare it up?? I'm starting to think my bladder isn't that bad, that is all the IBS.

I am guessing it is more bladder than IBS. What has your dr said? Do you see a Urg?

I know I have IC but most of my symptoms see like they are IBS. I have very little frequency and urgency but I do have pain in my bladder. I had the bladder installation hoping it would help with the IBS but it made it worse. My bladder feels better but not my colon. Oh well, if it's not one thing it's another.

My urg. said to see a gastorintestal doctor but I went to my regular doctor and she said that I had to figure out what bothered my IBS myself because it's different with everybody. She said the gastro doctor would send me for a Colonoscopy and I had one recently so she didn't even recomment that I go. So I almost stopped eating almost everything, then it got better and I started eating more normal, had a bladder inst. and now the IBS is back.

Which drug? Did it bother your IC symptoms? I don't think with any of my installations have I noticed my IBS flaring but I do think that if something bothers my bladder or Pouch (since I don't actually have a colon) it can sometimes bother the other as well. It is definatly true that bothers your IBS is different with everyone just like with IC. There are norms...but there actually just the most common because anything is possible. We are all different. What is your IBS symptom that you think is from the installation????

Well, if you don't even have a colon, it's hard for me to be complaining to you. I started getting gas pains again. I had just gotten the IBS under controll. I just took Immodium and if feels ok now. It's never ending as you know. My IC isn't as bad as most peoples. I seem to be having more trouble with the IBS as this point. Then I have a disc problem in my neck and I had to stop doing yoga and exercise, then I got a high blood pressure reading. Then I try to exercise to get my blood pressure low and my IC flares up so I have a bladder installation and my IBS flares up. It just goes on and on....I'm ok though. I can still work and do most things. I just stopped my diet and elmiron and I'm having trouble getting back to where things were good enough to go off my diet....thanks.
