bowel problem

I did put a call into GI and OB awaiting return call
I had my hysterectomy about 6 weeks ago besides the reoccurent infections I have ok. I have had continued coming and going left side pain where the ovary was removed. OB said normal. This saturday the pain doubled me over. I started having crampy stomach and several bowelmovements a day.Prior to bowel movement theres a loud gurggeling sound almost like a drain it dubbles me over. Today there is a bit of blood on toilet paper afterwards along with alot of gas and very nausea..
Wonder if its abug or something but I dont feel all that bad in between episodes.

I get this now and then but without the bleeding. My stomach will start to rumble like thunder and I can feel "things" moving downwards. THen about 2 minutes later I'm in the bathroom with big cramps until I'm done with things. Trying not to be to gross here. It can happen once a day or more.

If you have bleeding, you need to check with your doctor. If it's bright red blood, and just on the tissue and not visible in the toilet, it could be hemorrhoids if you've been constipated. I'm glad you'll be talking with your doctor.

I am the bowl problem queen. That sound in me is usually from having too many big spasms in my bowls. As donna said bright red blood can be a hemorrhoid...since it is usually from something low it could also be a from a
Hemorrhoids
Anal fissures
Diverticular bleeding
Intestinal infection (such as bacterial enterocolitis)
Vascular malformation
Inflammatory bowel disease
Tumor
Colon polyps or colon cancer
Trauma or foreign body
Bowel ischemia (a lack of proper blood flow to the intestines)

Since right after my hysterectomy my IBS flared huge...gas like I never had before and severe nausea I wouldn't be surprised if it is that. If it is just a small amount of blood on the toilet papger could you have a rash down there? You don't have to answer but
after my hysterectomy I had all those symptoms...and my blood was just from the skin around my anus. It was no fun. Do anti spasmodics help you at all? Do any certain foods make you worse??? Since my hysterectomy not matter what I eat I have to have a beano and antispamodic...and now my abdomen is a lot quiter than it ever was before! Pretty soon I will have experienced everything that can go wrong with my bowls besides cancer....(((hugs))) Certainly hope you don't have was is causing my bright red blood...but with your othe symptoms I doubt it. My left side pain has taken a bit longer to go away than the other symptoms so I am not sure they were connected or not. Hope you feel better soon. As my mother said to me recently (since as a kid I never told her about all the blood I lost in my stools until she saw it and it took me two weeks to go to the doc this time) never ignore blood in your stools. awhh thanks for all the advice
this is a post from a couple of weeks ago for whatever reason the bleeding stopped although my belly is still quit bloated and makes tons of noises... I never did get to GI had to cancel cause of my oldest with his knee injury. I cant drive for the time being and getting to doctors is becoming difficult.
I have another vaginal bacteria infection take my meds for that for now and will call Gi next week if I need . I do know the blood was not bright red.
