on Monday night my son decided to see if he was as good on a skateboard as Tony Hawk..........(he discovered he isn't). He broke his thumb, he was required to have surgery today. So tuesday night around 5 p.m. I was in terrible pain. I have never seen that stress was really a trigger for me.......Well, let me just tell you all that I have come to grips with stress as a trigger.......I have been in alot of pain for three days and am really hoping that now that the surgery is over i will be feeling better.

:grouphug: If your stress level doesn't improve within the next day or so, I suggest you talk with your doctor to ask for something to calm you a bit.

stress is a trigger for flares for me..take care and relax.. hope you are feeling better..

Stress is a major trigger for me. Sitting in traffic can start a mini-flare for me even when I am having good bladder day. I hope you feel better soon.

Stress is a trigger for me also. You may want to ask your doctor for some Elavil to help ease the pain during times of stress. It works for me.

For the first time since last fall I'm flaring too. :mad: I'm pretty sure it's due to Spring allergy season, and stress (I have a family member very sick with cancer and not doing well, not a stress that is controllable)!!! (I had a few times since where my bladder was trying to act up, but was able to control it rather quickly with additional instillations and Prelief)
It's not working right now, yet. Not as fast as it has before.
I've increased my instillations and back to taking Levsin as directed, and Prelief as directed when I was trying to get my IC under control last fall.
I'm will do all of this over the weekend and if I'm not getting anywhere by Monday...I'm going to have to give my doctor a call. SO....OUCHY!! For me!! :headbang: :toilet:
