Hi, does anyone with IC have messed up periods? I am on the pill and did not get my period this month had pain but no period and I am not pregnent

how many days are you late? a few times mine came two weeks late. I think i read about the BCP that, if it doesn't come to call your dr. I'm on the patch but I have only started four days ago. I wish you the best of luck.

Hello kjhappy, I have been having messed up periods also lately. I don't know what is going on. When I first got my period it was nothing. Both of my sisters had terrible periods, me it was nothing. My sister always would stay home from work because she was in so much pain. I thought she was just making it up. WELL BELIEVE ME NOW I KNOW HOW MUCH A PERIOD CAN HURT. It has been terrible for the past 5 years. My Perios usually comes at the end of the month. Had terrible cramps and backache Sunday and Monday started bleeding. It was terrible, very bright red blood and went threw about five pads a day. To me that's alot. Now here it is Wed and bleeding has slowed down. Last month I was bleeding for a week in middle of month and then got my period at the normal time. Very Strange!!!!!! I guess I should call my gyno but I was suppose to get my Depro shot and haven't yet so I'm sure he is not happy with me. I don't know if IC causes messed up periods, but I do know that IC and Periods are not fun. Need to talk you can PM me anytime.

My periods are always light flowing but with sevre cramping
I am on the pill and have never missed a period.-untill latly
Sometimes I use magnets (from NIKKEN)with my cramping they really help

Wow- I can't believe my luck to find a post about periods! I was just wondering about mine. Mine have always been pretty regular, but this month it is hardly there. I am on the pill, and I have not missed any or taken any late. I recently started all of my treatment for IC (instills, Elmiron...) Just a little nervous about it. I mean, logic tells me that my chances of being pregnant are like next to nothing, but I still worry! I am guessing that it is just because of the treatments and stuff that it is different this time. Any ideas? Should I take a test, or is that totally neurotic?
