How to get a broth culture?

I am interested in getting mine and my husband's urine tested for infection using the broth culture method that I have heard people talk about. How do I do it? Can anyone tell me the labs and info for them? How do I send my urine to them w/o it going bad? How much does it cost?

Please let me know, as I really am curious to try this...it can't hurt. I wouldn't go on antibiotics right away, I would bring the results to my doctor...to see what she thinks. I really want to get this test done.

When you have a urine test just request that they do a culture. If you want one done for IC to find out a good antibiotic treatment for IC
