Does anyone else notice that if there is no bladder pain then you don't have to pee all the time? I've noticed that since starting the pain med. Was laying in bed at night and noticed I didn't really have to get up to pee but did out of habit and thinking I would not be able to hold it. :bonk:

For many of us even our symptoms of frequency are partly related to our nerves dealing with IC so long....which is why pain meds can help both our pain and frequency....I find this is particularly true when it is a pain med such as anticulvants that work directly on the nerves. Anyway, yes...I find when my pain is down so is my frequency....sometimes because of pain meds...sometimes other treatments too.

I find I wake up to go in the night out of habit sometimes too....it is my mental IC allarm clock...guess I should get that replaced! :grouphug:
