As you know, there are literally hundreds of supplements out there that claim to cure IC. Although some members of ICN mean well by posting their experiences with particular alternative treatments, we also need to be sure that what is recommended is safe and has been specifically researched with IC patients. Please don 't be offended if a post that you make is removed or edited. It is only to protect everyone, including everyone's wallet. :)
You can read about how to evaluated internet medical resources by reading this webpage provided by the National Institutes of Health Complementary and Alternative Medicine Division: 10 Things You Need to Know... (http://nccam.nih.gov/health/webresources/)
Hopefully, someday, the list of approved alternative treatments for IC will grow! I know many urologists and scientists are working on it!
