Today I've been having my first flare in a long time with really bad urge/frequency all day. I just got in the bath because that usually soothes me a bit during times like these. I was feeling ok and although I always have bladder discomfort I didn't have a strong urge to go to the bathroom right away. Then when I got out the bath there was some water trickling from, "down there". but this is the part where I feel really stupid, I couldn't tell (a) whether it was coming from my urethra or vagina, and (b) if it was even urine! When this was happening I didn't feel any different in my bladder, then I rushed nextdoor to the W.C. and had some clear and white discharge come out. So, this is probably really close, but could water of somehow got "up there"(vagina not urethra - I know it couldn't get up there!) and then just trickeled out when I stood up?
I feel so dumb actually writing this, but I know in the past I've talked to IC'ers about sometimes not knowing whether or not they had been leaking urine or just discharge when they had to wear panty liners and stuff, and at least I don't need to shame myself in person talking about it to my GP this way and have her think I'm insane!!
