Woke up and almost jumped out of bed, ouch!

I can lie down only for so long sometimes. About 4:30 a.m. I woke to pain and almost jumped out of bed when all sleeping positions didn't work. I think this was because I was exhausted from IC yesterday and would lie down at least 4 times. Sometimes I feel like Cinderella at the ball. When doing ok suddenly I turn into a pumpkin and everything shifts. Hurts to either sit, lie down or both. Sheesh. I think the best thing this morning is to start drinking water right away. I wanted to get on the board for support first though.

I understand your frustration... sometimes, if I sleep all night without getting up to urinate, I wake early in the morning with a full bladder and horrible pain. I urinate and then take some pain medication, but until it kicks in I toss and turn in the bed trying to find some comfortable position. My husband tries to calm me by stroking me, which sometimes eases my nerves a little bit.

support from me headed to you my friend. I hope you feel better soon. I have done that quite a few times normally when this happens to me its because (like you said) over did my self the day before or the day of. I swear i believe our bladders has it own brains.
