I noticed that cold air or a cool breeze seems to act as a trigger to set off iC symptoms. Has anyone else notice this? It happened to me here in Michigan yesterday. I had just went and was outside and had to (bad) in 15 minutes
again!

The cold weather in general triggers my IC. I find summer the best time. (At least it was last year; I've only been diagnosed a year.) liz

Yes, it triggers my IC. I have to plan to leave 5 minutes earlier in the winter if going out. Guaranteed to have to run back in to potty once I get outside. As well, when I get into the shower when the warm water hits my lower back...bang, gotta potty.
Frustrating as heck. I know where every potty is on my travels cause I know when I go out into the cold that is the first place I'm headed too.

Yep, being cold aggrivates me too. And I notice that when my bladder seems touchy, I can't get warm for nothing! I will be sitting and shivering and everyone else is comfortable! ACK!

Tracey :)

Yes, cold is a trigger for me, also. I think it is because my body gets all tense trying to stay warm.

Cold positively triggers my IC. When I'm in a flare I have the chills really bad. I LOVE the summer...basking in the sun is the best!

I think even people without IC have to go pee more when it's cold.

True, but...it doesn't effect them like it effects IC'rs.
