:) I just realized, I have not had bladder pain at all for going on 3 days now. I wonder why not? Is my Bion kicking in that way? Or is it just a coincidence? It's so hard to tell with IC. It's such an unpredictable disease.

I could tell right away with the Bion that my urgency/frequency was decreased by a lot, but I was still having some bladder pain, especially at night, and that really depressed me. But these last few days, there just hasn't been any bladder pain at all, not even at night, and I'm just astounded and so happy. :woohoo:

Well, if this Bion is keeping the bladder pain at bay, I sure am liking this device more and more every day! Whatever is keeping the bladder pain away, I hope it keeps working, LOL!

I must still be having some inflammation at night that I can't feel though, because I noticed that at night my quantity of urine voided at each void is still kind of on the low side. During the day, I've been surprised to find that I'm voiding the kind of quantities again that I used to void before I got sick. I didn't know my bladder would even hold that much anymore. I mean, I probably still can't void as much as a normal person, but it's really great for me, compared to what I have been used to.

Well, if the Bion is doing all of this for me, and if it ends up performing like this for most IC patients without bad side effects, it's going to be a good tool against this disease someday.

Blessings, Lori

Lori,
I am so happy that this device has worked so well for you. Here's to hoping that it remains such a useful tool in your arsenal.

Thanks, guys! I will say a prayer for you Ruby. I hope so much that the Interstim gives you your life back. I hope for the best possible outcome.

Still just amazed at how wonderful life is when you're free of pain. I never realized that before IC. Boy, if it's the Bion doing all this for me - and my best guess is that it is - I sure do like that little device.

Blessings, Lori

Hi, Rubjen, so many IC'ers find great relief following the IC diet, I hope that you'll be totally free of pain by following the diet and then the Interstim will hopefully handle the urgency/frequency so you feel pretty much normal again!

It's very normal to be scared before a surgery and trial, I sure was scared to death! But you have such a good positive outlook, and I think your strength and optimism will get you through this and soon you will be feeling so much better!

Blessings, Lori
