Here are a few web sites I've been searching on......
www.cheapaccomodations.com
www.resortquest.com
www.gorving.com
I thought this would be great for a IC patient who would like to travel around with their own very convenient restroom!
Of course there are the regulars
www.expedia.com
www.orbitz.com
www.hotwire.com
www.travelocity.com and so on.........
Tennesse has a new air carrier this year. It's Independence Airlines...they have had some great deals lately and it's finally getting the bigger airlines to cut high pricing. www.flyi.com
**Tips for traveling**
Don't forget to make a list of all meds you should take with you. Keep them in their original packaging from the pharmacy.
Get a restroom access card from the ICN Store. www.icnshop.com
Possibly talk to your uro and get a handicap pass for traveling. See if you can qualify for this. It would really be handy.
Take along bottled water if your bladder is sensitive to changes.
What about your heating pad.......just in case.
When planning your vacation, this season, discuss any special needs with the chefs of your hotel or cruiseline. They are more than willing to make your stay a good one..........so you will be a returning patron.
Remember to have fun! But rest when your body needs too!
If you have other suggestions, please contribute. :)
