If I have a really busy day, then the next day I am a veggie. Today, I didn't wake up until late in the morning and it was even later before I got the energy/motivation to take a shower and get dressed. I fight pain almost every day, but some days I just can't seem to get my act together fast enough. I feel like I am in slow motion all the time. It sucks!

Hi twiggy,
My name is Monica. I feel the same way! Sometimes it takes me two days just to get modivated!! I feel like I just want to stay in bed and not face the world! I was just diagnosed with IC in November. I also have a weak bladder. I will be having surgury on the 19th of this month in California. I have many prayers going out. My prayer is with you. I understand exactly how you feel. Just wish that others that are not in our situation would understand.

I second the motion, especially if I have a UTI too.

That happens to me too. The strange thing is that I am always surprised by it. You would think I would have figure out the pattern by now.

i get very tired and exhausted if i do light activity such as a little cleaning and vacuuming. feel like i cannot do much for 2-3 days. it is worse with sexual relations. i am out of it for 3-4 days afterwards.
it is easier not to do too much.
i just try and live a really simple life.

It does suck...do stuff when you feel good and take it easy when you don't- kinda a bummer way to live, but more productive when you feel good.

Some of us DO NOT post our stories, pain and coping efforts.
I speak for all of us who DO UNDERSTAND!!! We are the ones here ALL the time, trying fo offer advice and a soft shoulder despite the fact that we too may be having a really crappy day....I am sure it is not a prerequisite to post all of outr own details-that is a personal choice. would anywone like to hear about my IC in the pat year?
Honestly, I am having one of those moments, where i am seriously questioning my support here, just as you are assuming many don't understand. Here we do just that...outside, I a not so sure.....what i do know is it is up to each of us to own this and proceed with the best possible information and support...others will not ever see this as their resonsibilty...just as i fel so much for a diabetic, but I can'r eat properly for them, nor can I take their insulin or regulate their blood sugar...I can listen and offer a shoulder..............

I suffer from that all the time but it is more because of the servere rls that i have and lack of sleep at night from it.
