Well, I'm back. Been away for a while. Don't really know why. Amazingly I still remembered my password! L O L!!

I hope everyone is doing ok. I have not, somedays are better than others as you may all know but I get up and go to work everyday, so that's a good thing eh?

Spring is coming to Yellowknife! Whoo hoo! It might be earlier than last year!
I can hardly wait to break out the old bicycle!

THis year I am trying to lose weight. Doc said at the end of last year. But I must say it has been a very hard struggle. This week I am determined to get back on track. Here's hoping!

I have had some stress early this new year. My father had a strok at the end of January. He is now in a hospital down south doing some rehabilitation.
I don't know what is going to happen when he comes back. He lived on his own with his dog and cat. I fear that it maynot be so when he gets back.
His caregivers at the hospital down south and the hospital staff here in Yellowknife want to have a meeting with me before he gets discharged to come back to Yellowknife at the end of the month. I am a little weary of this, as I don't know what is going to happen. I don't want to see him in a manor cause he is only 64 years old and I can't take care of him, I can barely take care of myself some days.

My brother's ex wife is giving him a hard time lately and that has been hard on me too as I can't do anthing to fix it. I have to sit back and let him fix his own problems. It's tough, let me tell you.

Oh did I tell you? Spring is coming to Yellowknife! Whoo hoo!

Well I hope that I can get on all of your good graces since I have been gone for so long. But you have been in my thoughts.

:welcome: back. It is so good to see you, again. It's always nice to hear from an old friend.

I am so sorry about your father. I hope he recovers, soon. Assisted Living can be very nice. My mother was in one before she died. They took very good care of her, treated her like she was a member of their family and waited on her hand and foot. They also took great care to keep me informed as the House is in Yuma, Az and I live in Tennessee. I was able to fly out there and visit with her many times and was able to eat meals with her any time I was visiting. I could have stayed at the House, but did not as my mother still owned her home in Yuma.

Well I'm glad you're back around! I'm sure it's been a difficult time for you in your family life. I hope your father's illness doesn't hold him back too much. It's hard when the children become the parent, huh? Let me know if I can help by lending some thoughts to you sometime............ :grouphug:
