Hello friends, I'm just sitting here on the computer waiting for my boyfriend to come home . He works at a Harley Davidson Dealership and today they start their Summer Hours. So know he works from 9:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. those are some long hours :cussing: It sucks when he works until 8:00p.m. because he does not get home until 9:00p.m. Usually we would be in bed watching TV or sleeping by then. Now we have to wait to eat supper until 9:00p.m. and when he works that long he doesn't like to have big meals. But I'm home all day long and I usually don't eat much during the day if anything because my supper is my main meal. Just feeling depressed, I know I will get used to it again  He's been doing it for five years so it's not like it is anything new. I guess I'm just having terrible mood swings :headbang: that are not FUN. I need to go see someone for some counceling but I have no insurance so I have been trying to work on that first, but my mood swings are terrible. And it could take forever to get medical insurance. Well that's my life :help:

Hi Tanya,
My hubby just got off of his busy season. He's a HazMat technition and hauls wastewater for Natural Gas Pipeline in the winter months. So from Dec to just yesterday in fact, he was working between 93 and 100 hours per week. It's hard to deal with everything by yourself. We have three children 11, 9, and 8mo. and I just feel like I'm almost a single parent. Yes, I stay home and all the bills get paid but I would much rather have him home. At times it's very stressful to think I'm alone all day and then I have to be home all evening and EVERY weekend. The one thing I try to do is count the weeks til he goes back to regular schedule. Just remember, it's not forever!

I know how hard it is to feel like poop and not have your spouse or partner around to just let you catch a nap. Add that an active 4 year old and the knowledge that my hubby will be in Iraq for at least 9 more months I take it one day at a time and do my best to give as much as I can to Lindsey and myself.
Hugs,
Barb :grouphug:
