Hi :) ask any questions you have, its how we all learn :) :) My symptoms started at age 16 with urethral burning, last year January (could have been earlier, things are a blur lol) I got the bladder frequency. There were times in between I had no urethral burning but basically off and on for almost 19 years.

I'm not exactly sure, but I have had pelvic pain issues since 14. No one investigated my bladder until 2003.

Mine started around 10 no diagnostic testing was done till 3 years ago.

Mine started around age 8 or 9 with urgency/frequency. The episodes would come and go, and I was normal in between, so I just tried to ignore it and blamed drinking too many fluids. However as I got older the episodes became more frequent and in Dec. 2003, I found myself needing to urinate every 10 minutes and for the first time, I developed pelvic pain I could not ignore. So I went to the doc -- by March 2004 I was diagnosed.

I have had undiagnosed pelvic pain since I was 15. Wasn't diagnosed with IC until I was 40! :toilet:
