Just wondering if anyone out there orders there medication off of any websites. I know people order from canada, but does anyone order from the phony ones and they end up good?
Tanya.
I would really caution against using "phony" ones. You have no idea what you are getting - they could just be sugar pills or something dangerous.

If you're talking about prescription medications being sold without prescriptions, then my advice would be to steer clear of them. As Kim said, there is no way to know how safe the medications being purchased may be.
The individual selling the medications is breaking the law, and the person purchasing the medications is also breaking the law.
If you're talking about a pharmacy who requires written prescriptions, a telephone call to the Better Business Bureau in the city where the pharmacy is located should clarify whether they are actually operating within the limits of the law.

You know what is sad. People go on the the websites for drugs for their pain and I do not blame them because these freaking urologists won't keep you on a regimented plan so u have to go to pain doctor. Some people can't get a referral for pain mgmt or they do not have a doctor close by
The medical field except for my pain mgmt doctor makes me sick

I agree -- I would stay away from those websites. They are not legal and often do not sell the "real thing."

Hi Tanya...
I'm one who has utilized www.canadapharmacy.com for purchases of Elmiron, and have been completely satisfied with the results. They require that a written prescription and a copy of your driver's license be faxed to them before filling the first order. The Elmiron is sold in the original manufacturer's sealed container. Cost difference is significant: $400 U.S. vs. $149 Canadian.
Please note that any prescriptions for narcotics cannot be sent across the border and are unavailable using this method.
Elmiron is the only med I purchase from them. In the U.S., I use CVS drugstores and they have a Health Plan for those over 55 that gives a pretty good discount. In most cases, the pricing is pretty close, but the Elmiron savings are too great to pass up. If you go onto the Canada Pharmacy website, you can investigate their price before deciding whether to purchase.
As mentioned by others, I'd steer clear of any website that doesn't require you to send appropriate prescription from your doctor.

Thank You all for writing back. I would not ever want to take that chance, because who knows what your getting. You are all right it is breaking the law. I dont even put my credit card on the internet let alone want to get involved in some scam. I have looked into needymeds, going to try that and see where I can get?
Thanks Again Everyone and if you have anymore advice for cheap medicine please let me know. Tanya

Hi Tanya...
Just to expand a bit on my message from yesterday, the State of Rhode Island (where I live) has just passed legislation to allow RI residents to purchase Canadian drugs legally via a new State website. I'm not sure of the effective date of this legislation, but just wanted to pass along the information to clarify that RI apparently has faith in the Canadian products.
Whichever avenue you choose, I hope you have good results and are able to find affordable medications.

We also order medications from a Canada pharmacy; the one we use is canadameds.com --- I checked first to be certain we were dealing with a reputable pharmacy.
