claritan--mix with ic meds?

can anyone take Claritan without it causing a bladder flare?Also is it ok to take an allergy medication with an anti depressent (pamelor or Elavil ir Ultram??

Clartitan is a Brand name for Loratadine, which seems to be helping me cope with IC, at least with the hard core pain. My doctor said that I could safely use it along with AMITRIPTYLINE, brand name Elavil, which I just started on last night. After a solid night sleep I still feel a little sluggish, but maybe it is because I worked all week and go back to work Monday. I will post again on how the combination is working for me.

Great website link - thank you. I too asked the pharmacist about the combination when I had the precription filled, just to be sure.
